Aislin was born and raised in the beautiful and remote north end of Vancouver Island. After being active in a number of sports while growing up, physiotherapy was a natural choice to pursue her interest in the human body, healing and health. Aislin graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of British Columbia in 2007. Since that time she has worked in a variety of health care settings in both private practice and public health. She has a wide variety of experience in treating both acute and chronic conditions, sports injuries, work related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, post surgical rehabilitation, and neurological conditions for clients of all ages.
Following graduation Aislin has obtained post graduate certifications in both acupuncture and Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS). She has also furthered her education in manual therapy through the Canadian Orthopaedic Division, and taken courses in shoulder rehabilitation, biomechanical pathology and strength training, the sacroiliac joint and pelvis, and soft tissue release techniques. Aislin is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia. Her special interests include shoulder rehabilitation and acupuncture during pregnancy and delivery but enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions.
When not hard at work for her clients, Aislin spends her time outside hiking local mountains, biking, and on the water by any means available (paddleboard, Kayak, rowing shell). She is a Mom to two active kids who keep her on the move!
